Lussac Saint-Emilion
75% Merlot/25% Cabernet (I suspect a blend of Cab Franc and Cab Sauvignon)

I don't know a lot about Bordeaux and only buy/drink a small amount. This is a very nice wine for very little money. Pours dark garnet, not opaque. Sweet dark cherry, dark fruit, violets and a little loamy soil on the nose. Flavors follow nose with dark cherry and dark fruit flavors tinged with spicy raspberry and graphite. Medium bodied with a persistant finish I found it to be a lovely, modest priced and food friendly wine.
13% Alc/vol. $12 case buy.

So the '09's are starting to arrive huh? Sounds like a decent QPR!
