Our Episcopal priest and his wife were celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary on Valentine's Day so we had a sheet cake and cookies. I took this sparkling rose' from Oregon and a German Riesling as my contribution (Father John and Ronnie like German wines.) We used plastic flutes which were purchased for another church event.
I believe this vintage was made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes (although the 2007 version has a large percentage of Pinot Meunier). Rosy pink to salmon color. Nice mousse of tiny bubbles in several vertical streams. Fragrances of strawberries, pomegranate and perhaps rose petals. Strawberry-like freshness on the palate. Ronnie, who warmed to a Bugey Cerdon at our fall wine tasting, but not so much to a Cremant d'Alsace Rose' , liked this one. I was pleased with it also and will probably look for 2 more bottles.

Any thoughts on the Nuthouse Pinot Noir? I'm wondering about drinking windows on the '04 and '05. If memory serves, you've enjoyed Argyle Pinots in the past.

I really enjoyed a Cowhouse Pinot Noir and also have enjoyed some vintages of the entry-level Pinot Noir. I would say that the '04 and '05 are probably ready to go but don't have experience with the Nuthouse or Spirithouse.
