Rated 93 – The 2013 Brut Cuvée Empreinte is endowed with notable richness and body, yet remains super-elegant and refined. Empreinte is 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, all from Cumières, done mostly in oak, although there is not much of a presence of wood. Kirsch, red plum, spice and attractive toasty notes build nicely over time. Dosage is 3 grams per liter. Disgorged: December 2019.
