Rated 92 – The 2013 Spécial Club La Blanche Voie is rich and resonant, with tons of depth, and the sheer character to match. Dried pear, apple, white flowers and fresh, minty notes all emerge with time in the glass. Vinification in barrel for 50% of the wine brings out notable breath in this striking Pinot Noir/Chardonnay blend. Even with all of its intensity, the 2013 possesses terrific tension and cut. This is such an expressive wine. No dosage.
