Rated 91-93 – Matured with 30% whole bunch and aged in 60% new oak, the 2018 Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru has an attractive bouquet of red berry fruit and touches of mint and meat juices, all nicely focused. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, good balance and gentle grip. It turns a little savory toward the finish, and a pinch of white pepper and sage lingers on the aftertaste. This is a well-crafted Corton that should age with style.
