Rated 92 – The historic estate made very good wines in 2014. This Barolo blend from Serralunga is aged in barriques and large casks. It has delicate red fruits on the nose, unusually pretty and floral for Serralunga. The palate is medium-bodied and quite elegant, with more charm than force or weight, but there’s ample concentration and sufficient tannins here. The long, textured finish features an appealing chocolatey tone. Drinking Window 2019 – 2030.
