The Côte d’ Or is the famous “Golden Slope” of France’s Burgundy region. This thirty mile long strip is divided into the northern Côte de Nuits (about 12 miles long and known for its red wines) and the southern Côtes de Beaune (recognized for both its red and white wines). Barely one-third of all Burgundian wines come from this region.
