Interesting

This is a single vineyard Chard: Luguna Vinyard from the Russian River Valley, '04

Nose of wet stone, white fruit, and a touch of oak. the palate is slightly different in that the oak is a bit more pronounced. It's not enough to put me off but it is more noticeable. The minerality is also more pronounced. Great mouthfeel; very rich mid-palate. the finish is medium to long.

This wine is not a blockbuster; but it is a well made Chardonnay. I'd buy it again.
