has it occurred to you we may have another spammer frequenting our forum? I'd bet a bottle of good juice this catbird is using us to play around with his computer skills. He's dug up every old, dead thread to put his spin on that I'm afraid he'll find out my brief, intense fling during the year of the black snow with Jackie. Jes' me spin on it. WW :?: :?: :?: :?: ( (Taking about 777Prodigyiously))

Another note on this; Maybe it's just my machine but I'm having burning hades getting the Wines.com site to come up and when it does it's slower than Drewski reaching for a restaurant check. Any one else experiencing this? WW

I've had trouble getting the site to come up. I've also been avoiding certain posters. After a number of years, one develops a sense of the absurd.

Been thinking the same thing for several days now. This site has officially become the slowest site I frequent. Notice, also, that there's nary a word from the owner/CEO/sys admin or whomever is responsible for making Wines.com run efficiently (and spam free).

Yeah, it's been really slow to launch for me, too, like someone is tinkering with the server. Better to just take ths site down for maintenance when needed than to try to keep it up while messing with it.

We're upgrading memory and working on the code to make it run faster. It is a server memory issue, not a code issue...

If it's a server memory issue, not a code issue, why are you working on the code?
