So my wife has given me a stay of execution for our honeymoon. gonna hit Buenos Aires, Argentina in December (its summertime there). Planning on spending a day or two in BA and then off to Mendoza. Going to hit Achaval Ferrer for sure and will likely leave the remainder of the visit open for suspense. Curious to know if you guys have ever been there or suggest for me to hit any wineries? Gonna take lots of pictures, blog and video all I can remember to do.

I have never been to South America but will recommend Bodega Catena Zapata. I especially like ther Alta Catena Chardonnay made from a special block in a high-elevation vineyard (Adrianna vineyard.)

It looks like they have a nice tasting room in Mendoza region but I don't know if appointments ahead of time are advisable.

Sweet! Thanks. I'm gonna prepare a list and report back. Again it will be from Dec 20th to Jan 2nd or 3rd. Should be a blast. A few days in BA, then off to Mendoza!
