A couple months back I had commented about my misadventures with cork breakage. Well, a short while back my father gave me as a gift a Houdini Corkscrew. I tried it out last night on a bottle of Castle Rock PN. Worked beatufully. It was easy to use, centering the screw a breeze. Its built so that the lever pulls the cork straight upwards. You can not pull it to the side if you wanted to. It goes for $40 and comes with a foil cutter and a spare screw as well.
