my CB (as WW calls her) and i never had a honeymoon when we were married in oct. 06 because of my job, so i'm surprising her with honeymoon, part 1. (part 2 will be on a beach somewhere later).

we're headed to vegas first thing friday. she has never been there. two nights at the venetian. staying in a venezia luxury view suite. friday afternoon at the pool. sixth row tickets to see cirque du soleil's beatles show "love" across the street at the mirage. then come back across las vegas blvd. for a late dinner at wolfgang puck's steakhouse, cut. bringing along a bottle of 95 phelps insignia. follow that with... well, no need to share everything sleep in saturday. have some friends who live in vegas join us for a few hours at the pool and at the tables. then it's a night at the wine spectator's grand tour tasting at... the venetian. pouring over 200 wines, including all the first growths and lots of top-flight calis. i'll report back on the wines.

and no, i really can't afford this... but remember, "sometimes you just gotta say what the (heck)."
