Has anyone tried this? I read somewhere that Rex Goliath is one of the best "bargain brands" out there, not only for Pinot Noir, but also their other varitals. The only one I seem to be ablr to find is the Chardonnay.

If you're looking for a good bargain pinot noir, look up Camelot Pinot Noir. Should be around$6 and is pretty good stuff.

Had it. It was OK, worth the $6. I'm really looking for something a little better, but it's hard to find.

I was not a fan of their pinot. The cab however, was one I bought by the case for a while. Decent for $6.

I thought both Echelon and Mark West were pretty decent Pinot Noirs for the price (about $9-$11 a bottle)>

Used a bottle today to make Beef Burgundien. It came out very well, and I finished the bottle while it was cooking, and it was OK.

Yes, it's not bad, but then it's chardonnay. I think you have to really make an effort to make a bad one.
