Anyone (Bucko maybe?) familiar with this Port? I ordered a glass of Sandeman's Reserva Porto (not a vintage Port) after dinner at a restaurant. The Port I had was ruby colored, very gulpable and pleasing but not complex. Later I spoke to one of the restaurant owners who is responsible for their emphasis on wines and he said it wasn't really Sandeman's I was served. They are transitioning to some new Ports and hadn't updated the wine list (which is a major faux pas in my view--the waitperson should have known about or been informed about the switch and asked me if I still wanted the Port or would want to sample it before receiving a glass). Anyway, the owner wrote down the name for me as Heretias Ruby Porto and I don't see it at all when I do a google search. I'm guessing its fairly inexpensive and I know that ruby ports are at the lower end of the Port spectrum.
