- TheEngineer - 02-16-2006 Wow.. A garnet purple colour. Strong and thick this one is. Nose thick with black fruit, licorice, smokey, spicy and wet coniferous forest. Rich, thick, lush and soft on the palate. A little hot at the end but nicely balanced. Super long finish and persistence. Great value for about $26 per bottle. - hotwine - 02-16-2006 Agree, that one's a winner. - barnesy - 02-16-2006 I've been raving about this bottling for ages. Snap up whatever bottles you can, they've already come out with the 99 LBV and I can't find no mo '97 in my area.
