my sister needs to say thank you to a friend who likes port, but her budget isn't that big. Is it possible to get a decent port for under $30 ?? thanks in advance for any help. : )

She can buy a 10 y/o Tawny for about that much. Taylor Fladgate is only around $23 depending on the market location.

Can't top Bucko's selection, but another option in that price range-a Late Bottled Vintage port selection from Niepoort. A bottle of Niepoort LBV would make ME happy if I got one as a gift.

For just a few $ over the 30, you can get a Barros 20 year old tawny that's absolutely delicious.

I LOVED Taylor Fladgate's LBV 1994, which is still readily available at around $21.
If you dig in the port notes for last year, there are notes posted on it.
