An Austin Hope project. Smokey, intense tarty finish, complex fruit including cherry, raspberry and blueberry, very jammy and the slight cigar box. Tasted with my Zinners group. Group score was 86/100.

If you want something that will score way higher, try one of the several really old vine Zins from St. Amant.

Kc, Ive been looking for some over performing zinfandel that isnt priced as high as the Rafanelli or Turleys out there! Will try out the St. Amant. Available all around the market? Or just via winery?

Iff'n youse paid more attn to the board you'da seen that the absolute P/Q leader in zins is Scherrer. He has an absolutely killer futures program that makes you feel like you're wearing a mask whenced youse mail the check. WW

WW, I do buy Scherrer's juice every time I head to wine country. Good stuff, especially for the price. No ego in that wine...
