For those of you who want a red for everyday table, with the qualities of a good Zin, Kenwood makes a Table red which is mostly Zin. The percentages vary from year to year but there is always a substantial (more than 50-60%) of Sonoma Valley Zin. The current blend being bottled is 2001, which shows enough body to be held. This is a steal right now, and I'm sorry, most of it is on the West coast.......4.99-5.99...Shhhhhh!!...This won't last

Sounds great. I'll watch for it.

Had a bottle of this a few weeks back. Notes say Zinfandel and Carignane,(no notation of blend %), 13.5% alc. $6.99 at Bel Air Market. Med tannin- easy sipper w/out food. Silky/smooth quality. Soft black pepper, black rasberry- then I was stuck b/w coffee and dark chocolate. I liked this wine.

The % Zin in the blend does change from year to year. They blend enough Zin in the mix so it usually keeps well. This years mix is good to hold....Ca Girl...that's probably as good a price as you'll find in Sacto.

If your over this way..."Olivers" in Santa Rosa...$4.99...

I'm in Roseville actually, irisman.

In previous vintages, I recall Cost Plus having this on sale for $4.99, I'll stop by there and see if they have it. Thanks again

Sorry CG they just upped the ante to $5.99
