This is a seven time a year event called the Vintage Guild. It is held at the Squantum Association in Riverside RI and put on by Town Wine and Spirits. The tastings are Bordeux, Italy, California and the Northwest, Nick's Picks Value Tasting (named for Nick Zeiser who runs the tastings), Burgandy and the Rhone Valley, North vs. South: A comparitive tasting of the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, and California Spring Releases. I try to make as many as I can. I have friends there so it usually makes the trip worthwhile in two ways. The discount ladder is fair and the location is beautiful, right on the water. Also, the food is wonderful. The only thing more fun is a trip to the store itself. It is nothing fancy, but the selection is out of this world.
