Opened a bottle of this last Monday to use as a marinade and forgot there was about 1/2 glass I'd left n the bottle uncorked in the cellar. When I saw this I decided to open another to drink with some BBQ'd Chicken breasts and Spinach, Broccoli, Okra, and Mushroom cassarole with Feta cheese baked in a chicken and SW sauce. On a whim I poured the slurp into my glass whilst waiting for the new bottle to open and, Lo and Behold,.,.,.the sucker was not only drinkable but a delight to drink. All that was lost was a tad of fruit but that was replaced by smooth, smooth tannins, advanced aromatics and a wine of finesse far greater than the 11 buck price tag. The new wine reminded what Zinfandel tastes like...Tons of up front fruit, active tannins, and showing its' 15.2% alc. WW

That's become my "go-to" Zin. Nice juice, and readily available at Costco. It even works as a sub for Barbera, when I find the cellar short in that one.
