- wondersofwine - 12-22-2008 14.5% alcohol regularly $14.99 on sale for $12.99 a bottle Very deep, opaque purple color. Very fruity dark berries on the palate along with a touch of oak. Nose of blackberries? and dark plum. Good party wine and/or barbecue accompaniment. Good QPR if you like the fruitbomb type Zin which I do now and then. A contrast to the deeper Zins I enjoy such as Ridge or Eric Ross. - Thomas - 12-23-2008 WOW, Cary Gott was the technical editor on my Idiot Guide book. I think he's the son. - Kcwhippet - 12-24-2008 Cary Gott is indeed Joel's father. Very impressive resume, as well as Joel's mother and wife. |
