Been on a Zin thing all week. This is another in Ridges' stable that I personally like. A field blend of 88% zin, 7% Mataro,3% petite sirah and 2% alicante bouschet this is one fine drink. Clear ruby with a restrained nose at first. Took 45 min to blossom. Almost floral with red fuits and a slight sweet spiciness, this comes on the palate with loads of intense fruit and a refined balance that doesn't mask the zin heritage. This is a very food friendly zin. WW

One of my favorite Zins as well. Great with those back deck meals.
