We were held hostage today on my birthday hosting an open house trying to sell the homestead. Prepared a special grilled dinner tonight, grilled jerk marinated and spicy dry rubbed chicken, grilled home made Kielbasa sausage and a medley of grilled veggies (asparagus, yellow and green zucchini, onion and red pepper), and grilled yukon gold medallions. Grill lovers heaven! Popped this zin and it paired nicely. Clear garnet. Nose of zinberry and vanilla. Flavors of zin fruit and cinnamon notes, smooth and well balanced and not hot with the 14.9% alcohol. An elegent, albeit straight forward zin that paired well with all that grilln' mess we consumed. Life is good.
