When I first poured this wine I thot someone was playing a joke on the weener. Looked more like a rose in the glass than a zin. THEN..... the nose hit me. Huge strawberry, vanila, sweet spice and a touch of earth. All components come across on the palate. Big entry, complex center and a 4+ lapper finish. Absolute killer zin. 200 cases produced. Am getting on the cell as soon as the are open to see if they have any left. 91. Another gift so no idea of cost but iffs' this suckers under 30 per it's a 95. Amazingly the 15.8% alc wasn't even noticed. WW

Their web site shows the 2003 for sale at $22, but they also list the 2002 in a dessert style at $28.
