14.9% alcohol half bottle was $14.99 (probably from Bassin's, also known as Macarthur Beverages)

66% Zin, 17% Carignane, 17% Petite Sirah, Sonoma County

Viscous. rich red-purple color in the center. Somewhat transparent. Black fruit on the nose and palate. Hints of blackberry jam, licorice and a meaty element, perhaps beef jerky? Juicy and yet finishing with a drying quality. Well worth the price.
