- quintade - 11-26-2001 Any suggestions of (1) white wine to accompany first courses of smoked pheasant on field greens (w/sundried tomatoes and candied pecans) and shrimp and corn bisque; (2) red wine to accompany veal roast stuffed w/brandied apricots, walnuts and spit-roasted duck lacquered w/spicy orange/coffee glaze; (3) dessert wine to accompany molten chocolate babycakes (served warm)? Thank you! - Thomas - 11-26-2001 White wine--dry Gewurztraminer or Riesling Red wine--Pinot Noir or Refosco Dessert wine--Banyuls or Bual Madeira - quintade - 11-28-2001 Thank you...that is a big help! - Thomas - 11-29-2001 I hope so. Thanks again! |
