- luvwine - 08-13-2001 Recently tasted a delicious Merlot - and believe the name was Burlwood, but am unable to locate anything about it on the net. Any help with my feeble memory and info on such a wine would be appreciated. Thanks.. - Drew - 08-13-2001 Luvwine, Burlwood is a restaurant only label of E & J Gallo and not available for retail bottle sales. Drew - Innkeeper - 08-14-2001 You might try the Turning Leaf which is also made by Gallo at about the same price point. - luvwine - 08-14-2001 [quote]Originally posted by Drew: [b]Luvwine, Burlwood is a restaurant only label of E & J Gallo and not available for retail bottle sales.
