Done' mistake this hummer wif 2-buck-Chuck. Deep almost opaque with n o hint of a rim. Deep, concentrated black and red fruits with sweet spices and a tad of vanilla. Solid entry, weighty center and a 4+ lapper finish that's about as good as it gets. Still has 3-6 to shed some solid tannins. 90/90. 39 by the box.14.5% alc. WW

Got some - saving it for a few years. Thanks for the notes, Verne.

Opened another to have with lunch yesterday. Developing into puberty now. Nose is showing perfumed, flowery notes and a caramel touch that is killer. Still needs another 3 at least to become completely grown-up. No change in scoring. WW

Thot I'd do another look under the hood forlunch today. Starting to develop some semblance od a nose. Red and black fruits have come forward with cherries both red and black and some plums studded by cinnamon and allspice along with roses and lilacs. The melange comes over on the taste. Still has some major tannins that need another 2-4 to completely devel;op. Greatnees awaits. WW
