Soo, I will put March 10th 2005 on my calendar.

Hey Vern, maybe now's a good time to offer Foodie one of those nice oak toothpicks....

March 10th, 2005 sounds like a great day to open a Haut Brion as well....

Well ww, I tried to save you from it but it seems you are going to have a full house on Mar 10, 2005.

Did anyone get ww's reference to Andre? I think I did...

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
I'm off today...wife's working. I play a round of golf, shoot 79, happy and go home and thaw a salmon steak, settle on the deck with a Partagas...living large, when...........NEIGHGOR FROM HELL COMES OVER AND PLOPS DOWN. Guess what? He lost his job and has nothing to do but, BUG ME! BTW, I popped a '97 Villa Puccini CC which paired beautifully with the salmon...minus the neighbor.

Is your neighbor afraid of police dogs?

- Drew - 06-18-2001

At the moment all I have is a non-threatening police cat.

Suggest you discover more of his dislikes and make 'em commonplace around your home. Cigars? Light one up as soon as he arrves. Drink? Pour a stout one in front of him, without offering an alternative for him. Loud C&W music? Crank it up. Or simply say, "Sorry, I don't have time for a visit right now," and close the door in his face.
I hate to say it, but you'll have to work at being unpleasant; some people are naturally obtuse and can't take a hint.

- newsguy - 06-19-2001

and take heart, drew, if he's unemployed he probably can't afford to be your neighbor for long.

- hotwine - 06-19-2001

Yeah, I was thinking that, too. He should be moving on soon, if he doesn't land a new job quickly. Here's hoping he decides to seek greener pastures elsewhere.

Yeaah Hotsie I was referring to the Great Andre T that was the winemaker of that fabulous bottle. Most of the guys probably missed this as he didn't make meeny SW's. WW
