Welcpme to the WineBoard, steve56. Well, Merlot is a grape. Pinotage Cinsault is really nothing. However, Pinotage itself is a hybrid grape variety grown mainly in South Africa. It's a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsault. Makes a very tasty wine.
