- TheEngineer - 05-04-2005 Nice for $10.99 (Downtown Boston...what can you say??) Good dark fruits up front but not a fruit bomb! Dense flavors! but perhaps not as velvety as I had expected. Some fleeting sense of tobacco, smokey wood. Perhaps acida and tannins still a bit youthful and finish was long. Nice bottle though! They make great P/Q wines in almost every varietal. Probably more posts than any other vineyard under the Best Buy thread. WW - TheEngineer - 05-05-2005 I like the post title from IK. "Best merlot for under $15 retail...besides bogle " [This message has been edited by TheEngineer (edited 05-05-2005).] - jmcginley1 - 05-05-2005 apparently I need to give this a try then. |
