A wonderful fully developed Merlot. Hints of chocolate and cola with beautiful dried cherries. One of the best straight Merlot's I've had. It even got high ratings from the "white only" crowd! A solid 95 on the GAD scale.

One of the top 3 Merlot vineyards in Calif(IMHO). Have enjoyed many great bottlings from there. WW

The local shop still has a few in stock. I'm wondering if I should buy more???

The big problem is the P/Q. The price is no bargain. WW

Ya thats what i was going to say. The most I've ever spent on wine is $45 and much over that would have to be quite a special occasion.

Heck Fire. I quit buying after the 94 which was over 50 by the box. Outside of Pomerol I can't see spending more for a Merlot than a great Cabernet. WW

I think I paid closer to 65.

Exactly my point. WW
