Well to celebrate the birth of our grandson Nicholas today we treated Daddy (Mom's still in the hospital of course) to a pan fried Black Angus sirloin steak with baked potato and salad (in defference to Daddy). We toasted the birth with the oft recommeded Stonehedge Merlot, California, 1998, and it was sensational, despite the fact that the Stonehedge folks recommend (on the back of the bottle) grilled salmon and lemony chicken.

Stonehedge is rapidly developing a reputation for tremendous value in its regular wines and knock-out depth and complexity in its Reserves.
