The much anticipated Grange 98 coming out May 1st in Sydney Australia. The launch is even mentioned in the local newspapers in Sydney. I have always wondered how this particular label became so famous(?)over here. Surely it cannot be the small amounts produced per year as I thought there are other wines with lesser production rates. Just wondering.....

Anyone find it in the states yet?

Hi there kkwf and welcome. The reason any wine becomes famous is the juice is better than others of its' type and offers more than occassional greatness. Grange is the hallmark of the Aussie Shiraz grape and has proven it has the staying power to improve for many years in the bottle. I'll check with my local pusher and see when I'll get my whole 2 bottle allotment. WW

Get ready. The retail price was just released at $395. per. Not worth it. I'll be deal shopping.

Yee G.A.D.s! That is nothing short of making me want to go outside and scream at eagles, yell at the Lakers Bryant, and retire my Boy Scout insignias. WW
