From Longbottom family in Padthaway, Australia. Chris Ringland is the winemaker. 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Shiraz, 11% Merlot. Screwcap. Impressions are similar to what I posted in March. Very dark opaque purple wine. Scents full of ripe berries. Juicy, flavorful wine. A decided fruit bomb that masks the plentiful alcohol with luscious dark berry nuances.
This could become an everyday wine at the $9.99 plus tax I paid for it. Had it with beef stew and again with bacon. A little of the Shiraz pepper reveals itself but the lack of tannins is suprising for the amount of Cabernet Sauvignon present in the blend. Recommended once again. (Good party wine).

Really yummy stuff, especially for the $.

Just curious, what was wrong with the old thread?

It got sidetracked onto Joel Gott wines and makes it confusing as to what wine you are posting about.
