Clear dark black/ruby. Nose of dark fruit and plum, very little oak. Flavors of mature plum, cherry, tar and pepper with a long finish. what a nice wine for under $10. ($9.39) very impressive and matched well with a peppered filet mignon. The long finish was surprising! International style. 13.5% Alc/vol.
