Had both of these beauties for lunch today and can say they both scored a TD even tho I've never found a new world Petite Verdot I didn't spit. The Bros is a profound Shiraz that has all of the attributes of a world class bottle. Inky, with black fruit, bnaseball glove, and spice dominating. Big entry with a weighty center palate and a 4&1/2 lapper finish. This is not for the Rosemont Diamond crownd. Put away for a minimum of 5 and maybe 10. 90/92 at 20 by the box Never realized Petite Verdot came in this color. Deep Ruby with a nose of lilacs, some vanilla and a core of red fruit. Good entry, nice solid center, and a 3&1/2 lapper finish. This McClaren Vale beauty should please any red wine drinker. 88/90 at 15 by the box. WW
