Bright, clear ruby in color, this wine was a bit of a surprise for us. Pretty cherry fruit with cinnamon stick flavors and vanilla oak on the finish, this is a real bargain at $12. 13.5% alc. Drank it over two nights. We'll buy more.

I'll be on the look for it. I recently purchased two bottles each of Bedford Road Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir (New Zealand). I've had the S.B. before but not the Pinot. The S.B. vineyard is adjacent to Cloudy Bay and makes a very tasty wine.
