Fruit for this wine was harvested from the Frankland and Margaret River regions. Very dark in the glass with scents of milk chocolate and berries. The entry is lush blackberry which transforms into brite berry flavors with hints of milk chocolate and a little spice. The finish is surprisingly long, 40+ seconds, with the berry and spice pronounced on the mid-palate. The bottle says traditional vinification and oak maturation for 12 months but the oak is nearly undetectable to me. A delicious wine and good value. $10.99. 14.5%Alc/vol.
