Got to do some free sampling at a favorite wine shop the other day.
This wine is deep purple, glass staining. Nose of lush fruit and vanilla, almost Napa Cab like, with notes of cinnamon. Flavors follow nose, rich blackberry and dark berry liquor, creamy vanilla with hints of chocolate and cinnamon. Ample fine grained tannins kick in on the mid palate with a nice lingering finish. The shop was asking $30 which I thought a little steep. More like a $20 something wine, nice though.

Was going to post on this lil' bugger as my buddy in San Diego put a bottle in my hot grubby fingers and said try it eith lunch. Left with a case and paid 22 per. Should be an outstanding ager. WW

Hey Drew-Booger, just got around to looking at the speculator and ole' Granite-Tongue HS rated this hummer a lite-runnin' 90. I agree and think it represents a solid 92 in the V part at the 22 per clatter. WW
