Dark purple/garnet in the glass, not opaque. A nose of creamy vanilla, blackberry and pepper. Entry is nice with the blackberry, dark fruit and creamy vanilla flavors strong and balanced, but falls apart quickly. The finish seemed diluted without structure. Smooth drinking, tannins are present but unobtrusive. This wine didn't excite me and at $14 a bottle there are better wines at and below that price point, IMHO. Alc.13.5%/vol.
