($26.99; 15.0%) blackish purple; opaque. deep nose of blueberry, blackberry and vanilla, with hints of spice and oak. flavors of same, and over time a coffee note joined in. thick, rich, tongue-coating mouthfeel with a long finish. good acidity and slight tannins that didn't become apparent until 4 days after bottle was first opened. an outstanding young wine that clearly needs time to show its stuff. 90-93.

yeah, as i said earlier this year, i was having to hold off posting TNs for a while because i wasn't sure if my employer wanted to use them. since they don't anytime soon, i have *lots* of notes that i just need to post. believe me, now that the levee has given way, you'll see lotsa notes in the very near future.
