Western Plains.
Inky purple/black in the glass. Viscous, showing long legs. Concentrated nose of blackberry, white flowers, vanilla and a touch of coconut. Very rich showing concentrated flavors of black and blue fruits, spice, vanilla and a blast of red fruit on the long finish which shows polished tannins. A big but very balanced, elegant wine with proper acid allowing food pairing. Wonderful! I purchased a case on the spot after tasting at 14.99 per. 15.5% Alc/vol but no heat detected. This is the type of Oz wine that I look for and not the ooze monsters that seem to be invading us.

Sounds good. Typically, you can drink it Stateside wheras the Ozzers neglected to send any across the ditch to Noo Zeeland. Guess I'll have to stick to the Wolf Blass for the time being.
