2003 Coopers Creek, Gisborne, Unoaked Chardonnay ($9.99 Chambers Street). The first we have obtained since the '01. It has risen one percentage point to 13.5% alcohol. Still gives you a golden yellow eye. Also gives you a ton of fruit including apples and pears on the nose and upfront. Intense tropical fruit, and some Kiwi dirt, add to the complexity across the palate. Lovely finish.
Matched with Haddock a la Creme and salad with viniagrette dressing. Simple wonderful. We will get more.

Second tonight with brosted chicken breasts in leftover (but still great) Hollandaise Sauce, and salad in viniagrette. Lovely.
Will be ordering more tonight.
