My last bottle and a little over the hill. Medium ruby and a little cloudy. Nice nose of vanilla, blackberry and butterscotch.
Blackberry fruit, some spice, vanilla and brown sugar not overpowering, but very, very, very...(did I say very?) noticable oak with some creamy notes, but a little flabby. Not an ager, IMHO. Drink 'em if you have 'em.
14% Alc/vol. Paid $16.

So far with exception of the top end shiraz I haven't found many that improve past the 5th year of vintage. Them suckers taste so good young, I buy for the immediate. WW
