- ShortWiner - 05-19-2003 I'm pretty sure it's a pork loin--a friend is making it. Do you think the maple will make it too sweet for a pinot? - wondersofwine - 05-19-2003 Not sure. A Riesling kabinett or spatlese is an alternative. - Innkeeper - 05-19-2003 Agree with WOW. - ShortWiner - 05-19-2003 Thanks--I'll let you know the results... - Thomas - 05-19-2003 Agree about the Riesling. - ShortWiner - 05-20-2003 It was a good choice. We had a Richter Mosel-Saar-Ruhr Riesling--went perfectly with the quite sweet maple and cinnamon glaze on the pork. Thanks, all! - Thomas - 05-20-2003 aren't you glad you met us??? - ShortWiner - 05-21-2003 Yes, well, most of you, anyway In fact, I am quite grateful to have found all of you on this board.
