Stumbled across this Shiraz at Costco this morning and picked up a couple for the princely sum of $5.29 per. Using as a sipper before supper this evening. A burst of red currant on the nose, with more of the same across the palate, and an interesting faint hint of tar on the finish. Quite a QPR. Oz seems to be cranking out volumes of good value juice these days. I'll return for more.

Also found a widget I had been told about: a lightning arrester for protecting the PC, fax and cable modem with a single box, for $18.99. Don't want any more of those stray electrons fryin' my toys! They also had an UPS (uninterruptable power supply) at a decent price, so I may have to get a couple of those, too, for the cellar and EuroCave.
