- Glass_A_Day - 05-03-2003 Now this is a big wine without being a fruit bomb. Explosive charactor in the mouth. Spices and plum are there with vanilla oak. A very fun wine at around $14. - Glass_A_Day - 05-13-2003 Just had another last night with similar results. Found strawberries and violets this time on the nose. What a nice bottle. - wondersofwine - 05-13-2003 Have to ask. Are you on the faculty at Mount Holyoke College? That was one of the schools I considered if I had been offered a scholarship (but I wasn't, so took advantage of the Regents Scholarship at my home state school, University of Nebraska, Lincoln.) One of my cousins attended Wellesley, a sister school (or rival) of Mount Holyoke. - Glass_A_Day - 05-13-2003 Mount Holyoke is actually in South Hadley which is the next town over from Holyoke. I live in Holyoke, but have no ties with Mount Holyoke, except knowing a few ladies who graduated from there. |
