I know there are big fans of this, but it just isn't my cup of tea. Deep purple color, and jammy, grapey purple fruit. No discernable earth and no discernable tannic structure. IMHO, I also would have liked some more acidity, as it didn't taste lively enough -- a bit flat and flabby for me. A very easy drinking wine, though, probably good for mixed groups or parties. I wouldn't hold on to it for long, assuming I had another bottle. Paid $20. Alc. 14%

I passed on the merlot for all their vintages as I thought too one dimensional and flabby.

Well, it seems we're all on the same page with this one.
