Lake Breeze Bernoota Langhorne Creek 2000 $18
This Shiraz/Cab is as dark as night, soft and full with ripe purple berries, spice, and enough tannins to cellar, but is wonderful as a balanced “drink now.” There’s a warm, glowing finish and gently obliging oak.

Kaesler 2001 Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre Stonehorse
No notes, but it was a great reminder of how nicely they do GSM in the land of Oz.
